By accessing or using School Run ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

School Run connects to your email account (Google or Microsoft) to read emails from your children's school domains and extract key information such as events, deadlines, and action items. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use by parents and guardians.

Account and Email Access

  • You must authenticate using a valid Google or Microsoft account
  • You grant us permission to read emails from your approved school domains
  • You may revoke email access at any time through your account settings
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Use the Service on behalf of others without their consent

AI Processing

The Service uses artificial intelligence (Amazon Bedrock) to extract information from school emails. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You should verify important dates, deadlines, and details directly with your school.

Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-extracted information will be complete or accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, School Run shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed events or deadlines based on AI-extracted information.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
